Full job description



Join our passionate team at M&D Care as a Support Worker in our services in Cerdigion. We have a service called Ty Pin Coed in SA44 6HS Llandysul, and our service in SA17 4RA Kidwelly. Make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable adults. We are looking for staff who wish to work NIGHTS only, as well as staff who can meet a full rota to include day and night shifts. As a Support Worker, you will provide emotional and practical care in a residential setting. No experience is necessary as full training will be given, but having the right values is important to us. THIS ROLE WILL INCLUDE WORKING NIGHTS.



M&D Care are an established family-oriented business, which is run by a passionate team of professionals who deliver specialist, complex and bespoke care services throughout Southwest Wales for people with Learning Disability, Physical Disability and Mental Health needs. Role and Responsibilities:



Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to individuals with mental health needs and learning disabilities. Assist with daily living tasks including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping. Promote independence, dignity, and well-being through engaging and meaningful activities. Work autonomously while maintaining the safety and respect of those you support. Comply with regulatory standards set by Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales. Work flexibly on a rota basis, including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Additional Information

A variety of contracted hours available (22.5 to 45 hours per week) Shift patterns vary and include weekends and night shifts on a rota basis No prior experience required - full training provided Opportunity to gain a QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care after probation, with full support
