Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. Duties

Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management. Provide transportation for clients as needed, utilising commercial driving skills and experience as a delivery driver. Support clients in accessing community resources and services, promoting independence and social inclusion. Maintain accurate records of client progress and communicate effectively with other team members regarding any changes in client needs. Engage clients in meaningful activities that enhance their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and reporting any concerns promptly.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, with a valid driver's licence for vehicles preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with basic maintenance tasks as required. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistical needs. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. Ability to operate flatbed vehicles safely when necessary. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
