Job Responsibilities:
- Provide personal support to elderly residents in a residential supported living centre, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of residents.
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
- Create and implement care plans tailored to individual residents' needs.
- Monitor and record vital signs, report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Supervise and support other care staff, providing guidance and leadership.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations.
- Foster a warm and supportive environment for residents, promoting their independence and dignity.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care.
Job Requirements:
- MUST HAVE A VALID PRACTICAL MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION TRAINING CERTIFICATE.
-MUST HAVE VALID HEALTHCARE TRAINING CERTIFICATES.
-MUST HAVE A VALID ENHANCED DBS OR WILLING TO APPLY FOR THE SAME.
- ATLEAST 6 MONTHS OF EXPERIENCE WORKING AS A SUPPORT WORKER.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation purposes.
- Knowledge of care home regulations and best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with the drive to motivate others.
Pay rate details:
12.21 - Weekday - Day & Night + Saturday.
12.50 - Saturday Night + Sunday.
13.50 - Sunday Night + Bank Holidays.
14.50 - Bank Holiday Night.
35 - Sleep shift.
Shift Dates:
7th August 2025 to 18th August 2025.
Shifts varied based on both candidate and client availability.
