We are looking for complex needs support workers to join an established team, caring for a delightful little boy and though his complex needs are of the utmost importance, he is also just a 7 year old little boy, so it is essential that those working with him have a passion for working with children with complex needs.
Our client requires support within his family home in the Easingwold area of York. He requires assistance with all elements of personal care, feeding, manual handling and medication.
We are looking for support workers who want to be part of a happy team who focus on bringing as much joy and variety to our client's life, while working with a Multi Disciplinary Team in the implementation of treatment programmes.
The right candidate should have a good sense of fun and energy and be flexible to adapt to our clients developing needs and also the intuition to quickly adopt to a calm, gentle approach when our client is unwell.
We are looking support workers who can work days and waking night shifts but predominantly to assist with up to 4 waking night shifts a week. The night shift is 8pm until 8am.
Our client is cared for on a 2:1 basis for handling.
All applicants will need to have a full, clean DBS check in place before starting (if you do not have one already we can apply for this for you). You will also need a Full U.K driving licence.
You will be paid for any training that you attend.
Rates of pay are 15.53 per hour for all weekday hours and 17.60 per hour for all weekend hours
