Purpose

This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic person to teach and support neurodivergent young people on the London Supported Internship TfL Steps into Work programme. The ideal candidate will be hard working, able to work under pressure and be flexible and adaptable. The successful candidate must have experience of working with young people who are neurodivergent and a relevant teaching qualification or the willingness to obtain one.

Essential:

You will have:

  • NVQ Level 6 or equivalent qualification in Careers Education and Guidance, Youth and Community work or Social Care or other related field e.g. counselling (or working towards)
  • liaising with and working in educational institutions and other stakeholders
  • working with young people in formal or informal settings
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, policy and guidance relating to Children and Young People\xe2\x80\x99s Services and SEND

The opportunity is based at the TfL offices in Stratford and offer the chance to be a part of a transformative and fulfilling programme.
