Job Description

Join Our Team at Striving for Independence as a Senior Support Worker! - Make a Difference in the Lives of Others

Are you passionate about making a real difference in people's lives? Do you want to be part of a supportive and dynamic team that values

compassion, independence, and quality care

?

As a

Senior Support Worker

, you'll play a key role in

empowering adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs

to live fulfilling and independent lives.

At Striving For Independence we believe in transforming the standard of care for individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health challenges, physical disabilities, and the elderly. Our mission is clear: to empower those we support to live fuller, more meaningful lives while creating a more inclusive and compassionate world. We're looking for passionate, dedicated professionals who share our values and want to make a real difference in people's lives.

Our Why

We challenge the limitations society places on people with disabilities and health challenges by providing top-quality care that promotes independence, choice, and dignity. By joining us, you'll be part of a team that helps people thrive as equal members of society, ensuring they are seen, heard, and treated with respect.

Care work is deeply meaningful but can also be challenging. Some of the most important tasks may go unnoticed by others--like helping someone use the bathroom, cleaning up accidents, or supporting personal care needs. You'll be there for people when they're learning new skills, overcoming fears, or achieving personal milestones that may seem small to others but are huge steps for those we support. These moments, though sometimes unseen, make a lasting impact on the lives of those in your care.

It's a job that requires patience, compassion, and resilience--but for the right person, it's one of the most rewarding and life-changing careers out there.

Who We're Looking For
