As a member of the Fundraising Operations team, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional Supporter Experience. Acting as the primary contact, you will efficiently handle donations, queries, and complaints. Your responsibilities include fostering strong internal relationships within the fundraising directorate, processing fundraising income, providing updates, and ensuring top-notch supporter care. Additionally, you will ensure that all income and data processes comply with fundraising regulations and Mencap's best practices. Working alongside the Senior Supporter Care Officer, you will also support two colleagues with learning disabilities.
This full-time, permanent position offers hybrid flexibility. Based in our London office, you will be expected to work onsite on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional supporter experience through prompt and effective communication (phone, email, letter)
  • Process online and offline donations, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Maintain supporter data in Salesforce CRM, following ethical fundraising and data protection guidelines
  • Build positive relationships internally and externally, acting as an ambassador for Mencap's values

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities to meet deadlines
  • Administration and customer care experience, ideally in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working with varied stakeholders
  • Proficiency in MS Office; Salesforce experience is a plus
