The Opportunity

Join the UK's market-leading Industrial & Logistics (I&L) agency team in a pivotal, strategic role designed to drive our growth across the South West. Based in our successful Bristol office, you will be positioned at the heart of a vital UK economic region, with a primary focus on expanding our presence in the Exeter market and supporting the wider team across the M4 and M5 corridors.



This is a career-defining role for a recently qualified and ambitious surveyor looking to specialise in one of commercial real estate's most dynamic markets. You will be instrumental in executing our regional strategy, working with a highly successful and collaborative team to advise a prestigious client base of institutional landlords, developers, and corporate occupiers.



What this job involves

As a key member of our South West team, your primary focus will be on leading our agency efforts in the Exeter market. You will also provide crucial support to the wider team, contributing to major instructions in Bristol and Cardiff. This role is central to our 'hub-and-spoke' model, leveraging the strength of our Bristol office to provide seamless, expert coverage across the entire region. You will develop an expert understanding of the market, build lasting client relationships, and contribute directly to the team's ongoing success.



Key Responsibilities

Disposals:

Managing the marketing and leasing/sale of industrial and logistics assets, from initial instruction through to completion. This includes preparing marketing materials, conducting viewings, negotiating heads of terms, and liaising with solicitors

Acquisitions:

Assisting occupier clients in identifying and securing suitable properties that meet their operational needs, including site searches, shortlisting, and negotiating favourable terms

Market Intelligence:

Actively tracking deals, availability, and occupier requirements to become a recognised expert in the Exeter market and the broader South West region

Client Advisory:

Providing informed, strategic advice to clients on rental values, market conditions, and marketing strategies to help them achieve their real estate objectives

Business Development:

Identifying new business opportunities and fostering relationships with potential clients and counterparts, with a particular focus on the Exeter area

Reporting:

Preparing and presenting regular client reports, pitch documents, and marketing collateral with a high degree of professionalism



The person we're looking for

We are seeking a proactive, commercially-minded individual who has recently achieved their MRICS qualification. You should have a foundational understanding of commercial property agency and a genuine passion for the industrial and logistics sector.



Essential Criteria

MRICS qualified

Demonstrable experience in commercial property, ideally with some exposure to the industrial sector

A strong desire to build a career in agency and a drive to close deals

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Full UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly to Exeter and across the region

A collaborative team player with the ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects
