Job Description

Greenview Group is a leading construction services business specialising in mechanical & engineering, heating installation and maintenance, capital works and HVAC. Greenview operates through three distinct delivery units - Capital Works, Maintenance & Compliance & Residential Services. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, we are looking for a dynamic and experienced surveyor to support our customer projects in the Residential Services Northern Ireland business unit. It is important that the applicant has experience of domestic heating systems and designs, experience of kitchen and bathroom designs is also an advantage.

Position Overview



The surveyor is ultimately responsible for the surveying of all properties on domestic heating installations, bathroom and kitchen upgrades to ensure they are designed to meet the clients specifications and current regulations.

The role involves working on social housing projects and is a customer facing role therefore it would suit a candidate with great communication skills

Position Duties:



Actively support the GV Health and Safety Program and all actions specific to meeting annual H&S goals and objections: Establish standards and ensure they are met Provide detailed drawings at survey stage, highlighting key requirements to meet the specification and regulatory requirements Pass all relevant surveys within a set time frame through to the design team to meet target dates Measure and record property dimensions, insulation levels, ventilation, and heat loss to determine appropriate system specifications. Coordinate with installation teams and project managers to ensure smooth handover from survey to installation. Stay updated with the latest developments in heating technology and compliance standards

Qualifications

:

Experience:

5-10 years of experience surveying in a domestic environment ideally within a social housing setting Strong knowledge of heating systems including gas boilers, renewable technologies (heat pumps, solar thermal), and controls Familiarity with industry regulations such as Gas Safe, MCS, and Building Regulations. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Full UK driving licence. Proficient in using digital survey tools, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. NVQ Level 4 in Site Supervision is an advantage Experience with energy efficiency surveys or EPC assessments.is an advantage
