About the Role

We're looking for a Specialist Surveyor to join our friendly team. The role includes carrying out surveys, specifying repairs, and working closely with contractors and clients.

What You'll Be Doing

Visiting properties to carry out condition surveys and defect inspections Preparing repair specifications and scopes of work (using NHF SOR or bespoke schedules) Writing reports, preparing cost estimates, and carrying out quality checks Monitoring contractor performance and ensuring works are completed to a high standard Keeping everything compliant with health & safety, CDM, and housing standards Providing technical advice and support to clients, residents, and colleagues

What We're Looking For

A qualification in Building Surveying, Construction, or equivalent hands-on experience Strong knowledge of social housing repairs, defects, and compliance standards Confident using NHF SOR and housing/repairs management systems Great communication and people skills - able to explain technical issues clearly Full UK driving licence

Bonus points if you have:

Membership of a professional body (RICS, CIOB, CABE) Knowledge of planned works or retrofit/energy efficiency surveys
