About the role (External)
About the team.
You will be working in a team of 5 people as part of the wider Eastern Region Land & Property function. The team is split across York and Stratford offices.
What does the average day look like?
In this role, no two days are the same. You'll be leading and supporting projects from start to finish, whether that's establishing new schemes or contributing to ongoing ones. A typical day could involve responding to enquiries, preparing reports to recommend purchasers and sale terms, and ensuring each site sale strategy is delivered effectively. You'll be negotiating with both internal and external partners to agree terms, instructing legal advisors to prepare contracts, and managing the delivery of smaller schemes as a case surveyor. Alongside this, you'll provide support on larger projects, build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders, and use your project management skills to keep everything on track.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone who is confident working across multiple projects and enjoys taking ownership from start to finish. Strong project management and organisational skills are key, as you'll be managing competing priorities while ensuring deadlines are met. You'll need to be an effective communicator, capable of building positive relationships with colleagues, consultants, and external partners. Negotiation skills and attention to detail will help you achieve the best outcomes when progressing sales or developments. If you thrive in a dynamic environment, are comfortable with both independent work and team collaboration, and can balance commercial awareness with strategic delivery, this role could be a great fit for you.
