An opportunity has arisen for two positions of Surveyor within the Housing Grants and Building Control Team. We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to become an integral part of the surveying team, that will be responsible for delivering a wide range of Grants to private homeowners throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf.



The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting and verifying levels of work eligible for grant award, preparing specifications and quantified schedule of work. You will be required to inspect work in progress, to check the standards of work and verify and agree levels of unforeseen work. In addition your duties will involve inspecting, valuing and verifying interim and final payments of all grants awarded to properties throughout Rhondda Cynon Taf.



You must possess a HNC in Building Studies or a recognised Building Trade Qualification.
