Surveyor/Senior Surveyor

Summary

We are open to exploring both Surveyor and Senior Surveyor level hires for this Bristol based position. This is a hybrid position with field inspections.

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Chartered Surveyor to join our dynamic commercial Valuation & Advisory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality valuation services across a diverse portfolio of commercial properties, supporting clients in Bristol, the South West, and Wales. This role offers a blend of office-based work and field inspections, with opportunities to contribute to strategic advisory projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake Red Book valuations for a range of non-specialist commercial property types including retail, office, industrial, and mixed-use assets. Prepare detailed valuation reports for banks, investors, developers, and corporate clients. Conduct market research and analysis to support valuation assumptions. Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market trends and regulatory changes. Assist in business development activities and contribute to the growth of the Valuation & Advisory business. Ensure compliance with RICS standards and internal quality assurance procedures.

Requirements:

Essential:

MRICS qualified with post-qualification experience in commercial property valuation. Proven track record of delivering Red Book valuations. Strong analytical and report-writing skills. Excellent communication and client-facing abilities. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.

Desirable:

Experience with development appraisals and investment fund valuations. Working knowledge of Argus Enterprise valuation software. Knowledge of the wider South West and South Wales property markets.
