We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Team Member to join our dynamic Sushi Kiosk team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring food safety and quality standards are met. This position requires a passion for food preparation and a commitment to creating a positive experience. This role is retail based and will involve working alone therefore good work etiquette and self management skills are essential. Business operates 7 days/week and will require flexibility throughout the week.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas
Serve food and beverages to customers with a friendly and welcoming attitude
Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times
Assist in managing inventory, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours
Experience
Previous kitchen experience is preferred, particularly in food preparation or serving roles
Familiarity with food safety standards and practices is essential
Kitchen or culinary experience will be advantageous but not mandatory
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated
