Hours: Full Time - 40 hours - Monday to Friday

Purpose of Role


The role is diverse, and flexibility and agility are required to manage and maintain expectations on multiple priorities. You will need to be Confident, Self-motivated, Enthusiastic, and Creative with knowledge of environmental requirements and reporting mechanisms. Whilst training and support will be provided, we need a self starter who can work independently and see tasks to completion.


Working as part of the UCLE delivery team to develop and deliver our clients requirements and our VINCI Facilities business plan

requirements for environmental, social and governance issues. Including stakeholder engagement, project visits, data management,


site waste management and team communications based upon sustainability targets, plans, our values and strategies.

Responsibilities


Provide the lead support to the UCLE project on legislation that may affect our operations/offer new products along with guidance material, technical support (sustainability, community investment, energy, waste, etc.), Contractor support (both procuring and ensuring performance), Data collation and reporting on energy,carbon and recycling.



Provide project management of the site recycling operation ensuring that the waste on site is segregated and sorted to the required standards of safety and hygiene to achieve the required recycling level and reducing our waste. Working with our waste provider.



Represent VINCI on the UCL Living Landscapes and Sustainability Board Meetings



Coordinate and deliver communications to raise awareness and promote sustainable business practices:



Internal: Produce and publish case studies,reports, articles, VINCI blogs, newsletters.

External: Use sustainability as a way of raising the profile of VINCI Facilities and market our 'Sustainable Business Model',

through web site, newsletters, presentations, social media, trade articles, pitching content to trade organisations, etc).



Assist in organising, supporting and delivering sustainability related events, such as stakeholder engagement and supply chain

workshops.



Promote and disseminate innovation across the division.



Finding good practice and disseminate it across the division.



Develop and maintain case studies that support the Sustainable business model and demonstrate our capability and strength.



Attend external seminars/workshops and network to keep knowledge up to date.



Maintain great relationships with relevant external organisations, such as the Supply Chain Sustainability School and the Sustainable

FM Index.



Look to promote the VINCI Facilities business through award submissions across the whole range of sustainability.

Essential Qualifications/Skills


Have an understanding and experience in sustainability and environmental regulations.
