Eight Versa has an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the sustainable built environment, to join our Health and Wellbeing team to manage WELL Performance Testing verification for our portfolio of buildings.
As one of the few approved "WELL Performance Testing Organisations," we are at the forefront of ensuring that buildings are performing as intended for occupant well-being.
You will join a team of multidisciplinary sustainability consultants who bring their cross-industry experience and in-depth knowledge to find bespoke solutions for both the corporate and the built environment.
As a seasoned WELL Performance Testing Agent, you will serve as one of the primary professionals for on-site testing across various buildings, offering critical, hands-on involvement with real projects. Key responsibilities:
WELL Performance Testing is a crucial step in WELL Certification. Your role involves on-site, post-occupancy testing of a building's performance to ensure it complies with the WELL Standard's rigorous health and wellness requirements.
Conduct various tests such as Air quality, Water quality, Lighting, Thermal Comfort, Acoustics, etc.
Support with WELL portfolio management from on-site coordination and data analysis to technical report writing.
Manage the site visits, set-up and operation of the sampling equipment.
Manage the client interaction to coordinate the testing.
Liaise with laboratory-based partners for the on-site testing requirements, coordinating costs and logistics.
Work as a core member of our Health and Wellbeing team, which manage WELL assessments and other sustainability certifications for the built environment.
Personal attributes and skills:
A passion for sustainability and the sustainable built environment.
WELL Performance Testing Agent Accreditation (highly advantageous)
Experience coordinating lab and field-testing (Air Quality Measurement, Water Quality Testing, Thermal Comfort, Lighting, and Acoustics).
Knowledge of the WELL Building Standard and the ability to interpret thresholds, scoring systems, and pass/fail criteria for each tested feature.
Experience with reporting for a range of indoor environmental quality parameters including post-occupancy evaluations (POEs) and indoor air quality plans (IAQPs).
A head for numbers, Excel, and data analysis.
Project management skills.
Understanding of buildings and the concepts of human well-being.
Ability to communicate technical matters concisely.
Client consulting skills: ability to determine expectations and achieve deliverables.
Excellent attention to detail, methodical, and highly organised.
Ability to manage your workload independently and work as part of a team.
A swift problem-solver with initiative.
Ability to evaluate complex information, identify key issues, and develop effective solutions.
Understanding of the sustainability challenges that organisations face in today's climate.
