Job Description

Role Overview:


In this role you will gain hands-on experience supporting the design, installation, and maintenance of heating systems, with a particular focus on energy-efficient and renewable technologies in the built environment.

Working Hours:


- Monday - Friday
- 9am - 5pm
- Flexibility is required

Roles & Responsibilities:


Job roles will include but are not limited to:
- Assist in surveying and assessing existing heating systems in residential or commercial buildings.
- Support the design and planning of heating and hot water systems, including low-carbon solutions such as heat pumps and solar thermal.
- Help produce technical documentation using digital tools (e.g., CAD, BIM).
- Conduct site visits to support setting-out and installation activities.
- Ensure compliance with legal and statutory requirements in heating system design and installation.
- Work closely with engineers and project managers to deliver energy-efficient heating solutions.
- Contribute to the construction design project with a heating and sustainability focus.

Essential Criteria


- Must be enrolled on the Level 4 HNC in Modern Construction and Renewables due to commence in September 2025 with NWRC
- Must have GCSE A-C in Maths & English (or equivalent Essential Skills Level 2 in Literacy & Numeracy)

- Valid CSR card
- Valid Drivers License
