Join our team as a Sustainability Officer!



Are you passionate about supporting sustainable change and making a real difference across supply chains?



We're looking for a Sustainability Officer to join our team and support the delivery of our Sustainability Strategy and sustainability projects across the business.


In this newly created role, you'll work closely with the Head of Sustainability (Corporate) and the Sustainability Director to implement a wide range of sustainability initiatives across the business. From delivering engaging sustainability training to gathering data and developing action plans, your work will help shape a more sustainable future for our organisation.


A key focus of this role will be leading our approach to sustainable procurement, ensuring alignment with the principles of ISO 20400. You'll support the integration of Environmental, Social and Economic considerations into procurement processes, working closely with procurement teams and other interested parties and suppliers to deliver sustainable outcomes across the supply chain.

Some things we need from you:



A degree in environmental studies or a related discipline/or equivalent experience Experience within an environmental or sustainability related post Experience in managing and monitoring large sets of data and able to analyse, evaluate and present data Excellent communication skills including ability to write reports and present data Strong commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency Proven experience in maintaining good working relationships Solid IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level

While this role is home based, you should have the ability to travel to Group offices and other locations as required. This is anticipated to be approximately twice a month.
