Job Description

Job Role: Boys Development Centre Coach (Casual)

Job Purpose: To deliver high quality, community-based football sessions to young people in South West Wales; enabling them to develop their skills and attitudes, and supporting them to realise their full potential.

Responsibilities:

Working alongside contracted staff to deliver engaging and fun, football activities in our Football Development Centres. Support senior coaches, to ensure that sessions are delivered to the highest quality. To effectively engage with young people at sessions, whilst acting as a positive role model. To ensure that all activities are delivered within a safe, controlled environment. To be committed to CPD and attend training course seminars and meetings as required. To carry out administrative duties as necessary e.g. maintain accurate attendance registers, conduct dynamic risk assessments, complete any accident reports. To ensure all equipment associated with the coaching programme is correctly set up and maintained correctly.

To ensure that The Foundation's policies and procedures including Health & Safety, Safeguarding and Data Protection are considered, and all legal obligations are adhered to, ensuring that the safety of participants, volunteers and staff (including self) is prioritised at all times. Ensure all aspects of safeguarding are integrated across the delivery of the programme and all activities are delivered in a safe and suitable manner; with all safeguarding concerns reported through appropriate channels. To be well presented and wear suitable attire whilst on duty and representing Swansea City AFC Foundation. Contribute to Foundation success by accepting new assignments, helping team members, learning new skills, and striving to improve team results.
Pay: 12.31-16.88 per hour
