We are looking to appoint a Swim Teacher to join our Swim School Team in delivering a fun, safe and effective programme for all users at our Diss Leisure Centre. This is a 50 week per year role, and lessons will take place from 15h45 - 17h45 on Thursdays.
You will be responsible for organising, planning and evaluating a high-quality structured swim programme using the ASA National Plan for Teaching Swimming, ensuring that lessons are fun as well as progressive.
About You
With an ASA Level 2 Swimming Teacher qualification (or equivalent), you will also hold either the National Rescue Award for Swimming Teachers & Coaches, or the National Pool Lifeguard qualification. You will have experience of planning and delivering swimming lessons to groups of mixed abilities and will be able to motivate and enthuse others to develop their swimming skills. This role requires good communication, planning and organisational skills.
In addition to teaching our 'Learn to Swim' programme, we are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who are experienced in delivering Group, Adult and Child, individual or 2:1 lessons.
