We need enthusiastic Swim Teachers

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in swimming. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating individuals of all ages in swimming techniques, ensuring their safety, and promote a positive learning environment. Our teachers should be fun, enthusiastic and have a good communication skill to engage with swimmers.

Responsibilities

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals and groups of varying skill levels. Assess swimmers abilities and adapt lessons to meet their specific needs. Educate swimmer on water safety practices and swimming techniques. Create engaging lessons that promote skill development and confidence in the water. Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their performance. Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around the pool area. Communicate effectively with pool manager for progress of swimmers in groups Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.

Requirements

:

Have at least 6+ months experience in teaching swimming lessons SEQ Level 2 or STA Level 2 Swimming Teacher Certification (or equivalent) (Desirable other qualifications would be a lifeguard qualification (NPLQ) but not essential for this role)
Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract

Pay: 18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.5 - 8 per week
