We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for swimming and a commitment to educating individuals of all ages in water safety and swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in fostering a positive learning environment while ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
Responsibilities
Conduct swimming lessons on on a 1:1 or a 2:1 ratio to children and andults adapting teaching methods to accommodate varying skill levels.
Educate students on water safety practices, swimming techniques, and the importance of physical fitness.
Develop lesson plans that are engaging and tailored to the needs of each student.
Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
Maintain a safe and clean swimming environment, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and any concerns.
Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance coaching skills.
Requirements
Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching swimming is essential.
Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively.
A passion for swimming and a commitment to promoting water safety.
Ability to be flexible and help out with cover midweek if needed
Must hold level 2 (essential)
NRASTC or equivalent (essential)
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in swimming techniques.
