Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong understanding of swimming techniques. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in educating individuals of all ages on water safety and swimming skills, fostering a positive and encouraging environment for learners.

Responsibilities

Conduct swimming lessons for individuals or groups, ensuring each session is tailored to the participants' skill levels and goals. Educate students on water safety practices and the importance of swimming skills. Demonstrate various swimming techniques and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance. Monitor students' progress and adjust lesson plans as necessary to ensure effective learning outcomes. Maintain a safe and clean environment in and around the pool area, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with students and their guardians regarding progress, concerns, or recommendations for further development. Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on best practices in swim instruction.

Skills

Strong ability to educate others, with excellent communication skills that foster understanding and engagement. Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching is highly desirable, demonstrating an ability to motivate and inspire learners. A thorough understanding of swimming techniques and water safety protocols. Patience and adaptability to cater lessons to diverse learning styles and abilities. Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with students of all ages.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 18.00-18.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 3 per week
