Job Description

We're looking for an enthusiastic Level 2 Swimming Instructor to join our friendly team at GoggleSquad Kingston (Latchmere School). You'll be teaching confident beginners and developing swimmers aged 3 and up, helping them build skill and confidence in the water.

Lessons run on Saturday mornings (8:30-11:30am, term time only) - perfect for instructors who want to be part of a well-organised, supportive team with an outstanding local reputation.

Responsibilities:



Deliver high-quality swimming lessons in line with the Swim England framework. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all swimmers in a secure, supportive environment. Plan and adapt lessons to suit each learner's individual needs and goals. Track and evaluate progress, adjusting sessions to keep learners moving forward. Provide clear, constructive feedback to swimmers and parents. Work closely with our office team, sharing updates so parents stay fully informed. Keep accurate records of attendance and progress using Swimphony (on a tablet provided).

Qualifications, experience and skills:



Swim England (ASA) Level 2 teaching qualification (or equivalent). CPR and First Aid certification. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Strong communication and interpersonal skills - able to connect with swimmers, parents and colleagues alike. Confident teaching learners of all ages and abilities in a positive, encouraging way.
Job Type: Freelance

Pay: 30.00-40.00 per hour
