Job Description

Aquanauts Swimming school, based in Central Hove is an independent provider of private 1:1 and 2:1 swimming tuition and are looking for motivated, passionate and qualified teachers to join our small swim team.

We are looking for experienced teachers and also parent and baby teachers to develop our swim school and baby lesson program

Requirements include:

An ASA Level 2 or an STA Swimming Instructor Qualification or the equivalent international qualification Excellent swimming ability with up-to-date knowledge of the sport To deliver fun, safe and high-quality one-to-one and 2:1 swimming lessons Exceptional communication skills and experience in a customer-facing environment To have knowledge of safeguarding children and Pool Safety Operating Procedures,

Hours Available

Teaching

Working hours will include Friday swim teaching 1:00pm 7.00PM and potentially Saturday 9am-5pm

With the availability of additional school Holiday lessons 9 - 2pm or 2-6:30pm Monday through to Friday and also term time cover lessons, if you are available.

Parent and Baby Teacher required

A role had risen within the company to develop, market and teach our parent and baby lessons. The successful candidate is needed to work Fridays 10-12noon and also to develop their baby swim lesson program throughout the week.

Rate of pay - swim teaching

start off pay is 19.00 per hour for swim teaching

Rate of pay - parent & baby

25.00 per hour swim teaching + marketing + development package to be discussed.
