Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Level 2 Swim Instructor to join our team at Meadowside School and Foxfield School. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports coaching and educating individuals on swimming techniques. Must hold L2 SE swimming teaching qualification or STA equivalent.
Hours available are:
Meadowside School (Woodchurch, Wirral)
Sunday 1.30-4pm
Foxfield School (Woodchurch, Wirral)-
Thursday 4 - 5.30pm.
Duties
- Instruct students of all ages and skill levels in swimming techniques and water safety
- Develop lesson plans to suit the needs of each swimmer
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help improve their swimming abilities
- Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all swimmers
- Monitor and enforce pool rules and regulations during lessons
Requirements
- Previous experience in sports coaching or swim instruction is desirable
- Swim England or STA Level 2 award in teaching swimming essential.
- Strong swimming skills and knowledge of various strokes and techniques
- Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is advantageous but not essential
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 16.00-20.00 per hour
Experience:
Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Driving Licence (preferred)
Work Location: In person
