Job description

Woodhouse Primary School has an exciting opportunity for a Swimming Instructor to deliver high-quality swimming lessons during term time. Hours of work are negotiable for the successful candidate.





You will have experience of:




Planning and delivering high quality swimming lessons to primary aged pupils

Creating a positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage swimmers

Ensuring safe provision of all equipment and ensuring it is used correctly

Developing swimmer's techniques and identifying ways to improve performance

Evaluating sessions and giving feedback




The candidate will need a:




Level 2 Teaching Swimming Qualification

Current Rescue Test or National Pool Lifeguard qualification

Positive and enthusiastic attitude towards swimming

Good level of communication

Polite, friendly and confident manner
