We're now looking for a skilled and motivated
Pool Engineer
to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a practical background who enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and taking pride in a job well done.
The Role
As a Pool Engineer, you'll work on a variety of residential and commercial pool projects -- from new builds and refurbishments to servicing and maintenance. You'll be part of a close-knit team but will also be trusted to work independently on-site.
Key responsibilities include:
Installing and servicing pool filtration, heating, and circulation systems.
Carrying out pipework and minor electrical tasks.
Using power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
Performing water testing and chemical balancing when required.
Supporting with groundwork and pool preparation as part of installations.
Diagnosing and resolving technical faults.
Maintaining a professional, friendly approach with clients at all times.
Requirements
Essential:
Full valid UK driving licence.
Experience using power tools and hand tools.
Previous experience in a practical trade (plumbing, electrical, mechanical, construction, or similar).
Basic understanding of plumbing and electrics.
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Right to work in the UK.
Desirable:
Previous experience within the swimming pool industry.
Plumbing or electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.).
CSCS card or other site safety certification.
Water chemistry or pool plant knowledge.
