Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team and provide swimming lessons to individuals of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for swimming and teaching, ensuring a safe and enjoyable learning environment for all participants.
Hours available
Monday 16.00-18.30
Possibly more hours. Long term teacher preferred
(Hours can be shared, term time only)
Duties
- Instruct students on proper swimming techniques and water safety skills
- Develop lesson plans tailored to individual or group needs
- Provide constructive feedback to swimmers to enhance their abilities
- Monitor swimmers' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Ensure a clean and organised pool area before and after lessons
Requirements
- Level 2 swim teacher qualification
Experience teaching children from in the water
- Ability to educate and communicate effectively with students of varying ages
- Hold relevant swimming certifications or qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and patience when working with learners of different abilities
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 16.00-22.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
