Job Description

We are looking to hire an experienced Swimming Teacher who is passionate and able to adapt to change, in helping both children and adults of all ages and abilities to develop swimming techniques and skills.
The Swimming Teacher responsibilities would include evaluating each student's performance during swim sessions and providing constructive feedback, completing attendance, progress, and accident reports when needed and ensuring that all swimming aids and equipment are in good working order. You should also be able collaborate with work colleagues, students and their parents.

To be successful as a Swimming Teacher you should be able to demonstrate patience and enthusiasm and no matter how hard your student finds something encourage them to believe anything is possible. Ultimately, an exceptional Swimming Teacher should be able to communicate effectively and ensure that all water safety rules are adhered to.

Responsibilities :-

Teaching swimming techniques, swimming strokes and water safety rules to students and making them adaptable to varying swimming abilities. Assisting more experienced swimmers to enhance their abilities. Assessing the progress of students and adjusting teaching programs provided by the the swimming Co-Ordinator Monitoring the safety of all Co Workers, students parents and guests to prevent possible accidents around water Implement ground rules for each swimming lesson Creating lesson plans that follow the scheme of work and adapting during a lesson as and when needed depending on abilities Discuss Planning and designing lesson plans with Co-Ordinator and co workers taking into account abilities and progressive development Identifying incorrect Swimming techniques and correcting students accordingly by discussing directly with that student at how they feel it went so self discovery is involved Ensure whilst Teaching your area is kept a clean as possible to prevent hazards.

Swimming Teacher Requirements:-

SSTQ or Equivalent Swimming Teacher Qualification Proven experience working as a Swimming Teacher or Lifeguard CPR, First Aid certifications Knowledge of proper swimming Techniques and water Safety Rules Strong Swimming abilities Effective Communication Skills Passionate and enthusiastic

Shift Rota ( Always applicable to change depending on Business needs)

Monday 6:00pm - 8:45pm

Tuesday 5:15pm - 7:45pm

Friday 12:45 - 3:15pm

Friday 5:30pm - 8:45pm

Additional hours possible in near future

Job Types: Part-time, Temp to perm

Pay: Up to 16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 11 per week
