Swimming Teacher (part Time, Fixed Term)
Job Description
Physical Education is a key department within the School, at the heart of both the curriculum and co-curricular programme.
We are recruiting a well-qualified and enthusiastic Swimming Teacher to join our thriving department to teach swimming to all key stages and make a substantial contribution to the co-curricular programme. This is a part time role, for a one-year fixed term to work primarily on Wednesdays to cover squad and curriculum lessons, with potential to cover other morning/afternoon sessions for squad training, staff swimming, and galas (to be discussed at interview).
The successful applicant will be committed to maintaining the high standards set within the School, and dedicated to inspiring students.
Safeguarding
All staff have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children with whom they come into contact and are required to adhere to and ensure compliance with the school's Safeguarding Policy Statement at all times. If, in the course of carrying out their duties, a member of staff becomes aware of any actual or potential risks to the safety or welfare of children in the school, they must immediately report their concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead. The role amounts to a regulated activity.
