Switchboard Operator

HOURS:

This position is part-time based on 3 days out of 7, including weekend work. Shifts between the hours of 8AM and 9PM.

LOCATION:

Galgorm (Ballymena).

SALARY:

Payscale 12.52-14.02

About the role:

The Resort is home to a number of guestrooms including Suites, Deluxe & Superior as well as Riverside Cabins and Cottage Suites set on the grounds. To cater for all guests we have a number of different restaurants, all offering a taste of something different, and our award-winning Thermal Village & Spa at Galgorm, the first of its kind in Ireland.


We are looking for a friendly and professional individual to join our team as Switchboard Operator. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being the first point of contact for our guests, we'd love to hear from you!

The main duties include but are not limited to;

Call Handling - Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and professionally, providing accurate information to guests and staff. Voucher Processing Guest Assistance - Handle guest inquiries and requests in a courteous and helpful manner. Problem-Solving - Address and resolve guest concerns or escalate them to the relevant team member when necessary. Administrative Support:Perform additional administrative tasks as assigned by the manager, answering guest enquiry emails.

The Person:

Essential criteria, applicants must have;

At least 6 months' experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment in a customer-facing role. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Good computer literacy, with the ability to learn and use internal systems quickly. A professional and friendly demeanor with a strong customer service focus.

Desirable:

Experience in the hospitality industry Previous experience working as a switchboard operator. Experience working in a call centre environment
