• Lead team (including other Group Leaders), schedule, and train employees
• Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations
• Ensure coverage and performance
• Foster morale and teamwork
• Oversee monthly maintenance, calibration, and qualification of laboratory equipment
• Oversee and guide direct reports for system validation efforts, including onboarding and change controls
• Initiate and perform laboratory investigations with impact assessments
• Write and review instrument standard operating procedures
• Train new analysts
• Coordinate system validation efforts with quality engineering departments
• Manage priorities of systems between various groups
• Assist and perform troubleshooting evaluations of systems, utilizing outside vendors or internal resources as necessary
• Ensure that all instrument documentation is held to the highest quality standards by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations

Qualifications

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
• Familiarity with computer system validations and instrumentation validations

Minimum Qualifications:
BS, MS, or PhD in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related degree field
At least 3 years of related work experience
Experience with CSV (Computerized System Validation)
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with additional hours as needed as workloads demand.
