What will you be doing?




We are seeking experienced

Systems Engineers

to join our growing team, supporting mission-critical programmes within the UK defence sector. Working on complex, integrated systems, you will apply your expertise across the

entire systems engineering lifecycle

, from

requirements capture

through to

design, integration, verification, and validation

.


This is an opportunity to deliver impactful engineering in a

secure, high-integrity environment

, where your work will directly enhance national defence capabilities.

Your main responsibilities will be:



Lead and deliver

system-level engineering work packages across the

V-model lifecycle

.

Capture, analyse, and manage requirements

using

DOORS

to ensure traceability throughout the project.

Develop system architectures and designs

, ensuring robust interfaces and alignment with stakeholder needs.

Define, plan, and execute verification and validation activities

, producing supporting artefacts and documentation. Apply

systems thinking

to identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.

Collaborate across disciplines

(mechanical, electrical, safety, and software engineering) to deliver integrated solutions. Support

reviews, audits, and compliance assessments

, ensuring designs meet defence and safety standards. Contribute to

continuous improvement initiatives

to enhance systems engineering processes and best practices.

Who are we looking for?



You are...



Passionate about engineering result-oriented proactive


Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in

systems engineering, Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, or related discipline

. Proven experience in

systems engineering

within

defence, automotive, or aerospace

programmes. Strong working knowledge of the

V lifecycle

and requirements management using

DOORS

. Experience developing and integrating

complex vehicle or defence systems

. Familiarity with

system safety, risk management, and change control

. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Eligible for

UK Security Clearance (SC)

.
