This role focuses on the design, integration, and validation of propulsion systems (typically ICE, MHEV, or BEV) at a system level. It involves both virtual development and physical integration of hardware and software into the powerpack.?
Key Responsibilities:?
Define system architecture and functional requirements for powertrain systems.?
Lead integration of hardware and software components into ICE/MHEV/BEV powerpacks.?
Create and manage DVPs, system specifications, and validation plans.?
Support vehicle builds and provide technical support during prototype and production phases.?
Diagnose and resolve system-level issues using tools like INCA, CANalyzer, MATLAB, etc.?
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., electrical, thermal, controls, calibration).
?
Skills & Tools:?
Strong understanding of hybrid and electric propulsion systems.?
Experience with diagnostic and data analysis tools (e.g., INCA, Corvus, CANape).?
Familiarity with systems engineering principles and tools (e.g., SysML, DOORS).?
Knowledge of functional safety (ISO 26262) is often desirable.
