Role Description





This role is responsible for managing and optimising Netsuite and other related finance systems. This includes maintaining and overseeing the financial systems, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. The scope of the role covers AST's business units based in the UK using Netsuite.


In addition, this role also provides support to the Netsuite Solution Architect during 2026 when AST's overseas Australia, Asia and Americas entities migrate onto Netsuite.

Key Elements



AST EMEA Region:



Ensure data accuracy and integrity within financial systems. Working with finance team members to improve and design reporting to enhance efficiency in accounting, reporting, forecasting and business decision making. Netsuite finance champion (expert) for Record-to-Report (RTR) processes. Promotion of good internal control practices for data governance and data integrity in accordance with accounting standards and AST group policies.

NetSuite Support:



Responsible for monitoring NetSuite support mailbox Field non-finance (RTR) queries and reroute to the appropriate SME (Champion) around the business Perform data imports from sources such as IBIS and downloaded csv files (ensuring integrity over the data transfer process and reconciling as required) Working with colleagues to resolve finance queries arising from data input and output from NetSuite. Provide training to finance and non-finance staff on using financial systems effectively Develop user guides, training materials, and system documentation Tracking and monitoring use of ACS (external NetSuite technical consultant) to ensure best use of resources available



NetSuite Go-Live Support:



Preparation of data for loading and validation (production and sandbox) User Acceptance Testing Learn and provide training to finance team as RTR NetSuite Champion

Technical Skills / Experience / Qualifications



Qualified accounting professional (AAT/CIMA/ACA/ACCA). Understanding key accounting principles is essential. Experience of working with multinational business units (multi-currency environment) is essential. Experience in working with large volumes of data from various source systems Knowledge of NetSuite preferable but practical working knowledge of any multinational finance ERP is essential. Strong proficiency in software, data management and governance
