Role Profile




Organise and oversee the life cycle, security, and maintenance of assigned region's computer infrastructure, including servers, storage, network and systems management components. Build, deploy, maintain, and repair the computer and network infrastructure. Explore technical solutions, determine the applicability, and make recommendations for deployment. Support 4 manufacturing facilities - 2 in UK & 2 in Tunisia; both remotely and onsite.



Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities



Install, maintain, and evaluate network systems and communications Assist with network architecture design, feasibility, and cost studies Act as escalation point for helpdesk team & infrastructure technicians. Ensure system hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational policies and standards. Research and recommend new automated approaches for system administrative tasks and support processes. Monitor daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media. Perform regular health & security monitoring of network, server and end-user equipment. Prioritizes problems based on severity, urgency, and impact to the business; tracks all outstanding incidents until successful resolution. Supports and maintains Active Directory topology, DNS, DHCP, and GPO configurations for applicable sites. Responsible for Azure and O365 cloud tenant's security and associated applications such as Intune, Azure AD, Exchange Online, and O365. Support and maintain existing telephony infrastructure Works with enterprise support groups and outside vendors to resolve problems or issues. Coordinates through the change management process to move, install, upgrade, remove and configure site IT assets and supporting infrastructure. Maintains the asset management system additions/changes/deletions for accurate tracking of all IT assets within the sites. Has knowledge of NIST 800-171 publication, works towards, and upholds infrastructure-related aspects of framework. Participate in cross-functional projects Requires support of and travel to remote sites. May require occasional evening and weekend work, determined by project related work and/or system outages Other job-related duties as assigned

Person Specification



Bachelor's degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related field 7 years relevant experience Microsoft and/or Cisco certification preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Strong technical skills Strong knowledge of internet, computer, routers, switches, firewall, wireless, and operating systems. Strong written and oral communication skills Able to translate complex technology ideas to non-technological users * Strong communicator
