Job Summary


Lead and execute all activities related to KDDI ICT services, including planning, design, and architecture in addition to maintenance of network and system solutions.

Design and support IoT service platforms.

Manage the full lifecycle of KDDI Europe's provided equipment and services.

Take responsibility for KDDI ICT services operations, including L3/L2 networks, firewalls, security services, SD-WAN, EVPN-VXLAN, internet, and 3rd-level troubleshooting.

Handle project-related tasks such as documentation, reporting, and coordination with third parties.

Create procedures aligned with internal standards.

Ensure all solutions are efficient, cost-effective, and meet business needs.

Duties



- Detailed planning, designing and developing of ICT services including network and server applications.

- Network element configuration including day-to-day service delivery.

- Network and server implementation and optimisation including designing and testing procedures.

- Service, network and hardware migration planning and execution.

- Proof of concept testing and acceptance testing.

- Creating handover documents and delivering training within the division.

- Developing and implementing new features and services.

- Careful consideration regarding implementation and ensuring systems are profitable.

- Vendor and Carrier negotiation, and control for gaining the necessary information and following it through.

- Establishing and ceasing circuit connections of the systems.

- 3rd level troubleshooting with related internal teams and being the first point of contact for internal and external matters.

- Acting as a technical lead for both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and accountability.

- In case of critical incidents, coordinate with relevant parties and provide support as required to ensure service continuity.

- Documenting methods for the implementation and modification of all KDDI ICT services in line with the Company's procedures.

- Project and service delivery schedule management.

- Periodical report to your line manager on work status (frequency and format of such report will be agreed with your line manager).

- Project targets provided by line manager must be reached.

- Time management and project coordination to ensure smooth implementation.

- Proactive identification of issues and provision of solutions on own initiative.

- Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries, ensuring high responsiveness even when immediate resolution is not possible.

- Develop repeatable and documented processes for troubleshooting and service delivery, enabling others to resolve similar issues independently.

- Proactive identification of areas and configurations that can benefit from improvement and implement preventive measures to reduce the likelihood of recurring issues.

- Capture and share technical knowledge and lessons learned to build a sustainable and scalable framework.

- Report all KDDI ICT services incidents to your superior in a timely manner.

- Ad-hoc tasks as requested by line management.

Experience



- Planning abilities - to encompass - Network/systems/Servers as part of strategic, service infra and O&M planning

- Sufficient work experience in Networking / Knowledge level : CCNP, JNCIA

- TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, Ethernet, Data Transmission, L2/L3 VPN, Multi-Layer Networking, QoS, Security Firewall,

- SDWAN, EVPN-VXLAN and IPSec. SONET/SDH, Ethernet, MPLS, Optical Networking.

- Generic Routing, EIGRP, RIP, OSPF, ISIS and BGP4.

- Cisco IOS, Junos, Paloalto PAN-OS, Mikrotik OS, AWS operation and configuration. UNIX command operation and setup/management

- Facility Management, Network Cabling, Equipment Installation.

- Provider related server application. I.E. SMTP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, SNMP Monitoring & Traffic Mgmnt.

- Knowledge and proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Microsoft Outlook.

- Ability to read and write technical documentation.

- Strong time management/multi tasking & organisational skills.

- Operational experience in security services.

- Initiative and task ownership.

- Strong work ethic.

- Reliable time keeping and attendance.

- Fluent in English.
