: Systems Architect (Microsoft Dynamics 365)

Purpose of the Role

The Systems Architect (MSD365) will own the end-to-end delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 as Puresport's core ERP system. This role will serve as the bridge between Finance, Operations, Growth/Commercial and Marketing.

The successful candidate will ensure the ERP is configured in a way that supports Puresport's growth ambitions, provides a single source of truth, and materially improves financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and cross-team decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. ERP Implementation

Lead the full lifecycle implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365, from requirements gathering to go-live. Translate business needs across Finance, Ops, Supply Chain, Sales Channels (DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, and Retail) into clear, structured system requirements. Act as the day-to-day implementer, working with the Head of Finance and internal stakeholders. Manage project timelines, risk registers, testing cycles, data migration, and post-go-live stabilisation.

2. Systems Design & Configuration

Configure financial modules (GL, AP/AR, budgeting, fixed assets, inventory, landed costs, project accounting). Build out workflows for approvals, purchasing, stock movement, fulfilment, and omni-channel reporting. Define chart of accounts, cost centres, dimensions, and reporting structures aligned to Puresport's omni-channel strategy, KPIs and reporting needs.

3. Data & Process Transformation

Lead data mapping, cleansing, migration plans and reconciliation between Xero and MS Dynamics 365. Standardise operational processes across DTC, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Wholesale and Retail channels. Build robust controls, audit trails, and segregation of duties aligned with best-practice finance governance.

4. Systems Accounting & Reporting

Ensure the ERP produces accurate management accounts, P&L by channel, stock valuations, landed costs, and COGS reporting. Build financial dashboards, automated reconciliations, and integrated reporting packs. Support bespoke integrations with Shopify, Amazon, TikTok, 3PL, WMS, BI tools and banking APIs.

5. Training & Change Management

Prepare clear SOPs, training materials and workshops for Finance, Ops, Commercial, and Leadership teams. Support change management to ensure smooth transition to new processes and system adoption across departments. Serve as the internal "super-user" and first point of contact for post-implementation queries and enhancements.

6. Continuous Improvement

Work with HoF to identify optimisation opportunities and roll out enhancements post-go-live. Create a scalable systems roadmap as the business expands into retail, new countries, and increased SKU complexity.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

Proven track record implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 end-to-end. Knowledge of bespoke integrations between ERP and Shopify/Amazon/TikTok Shop/3PL systems/Banks. Strong systems accounting background, ideally qualified or part-qualified. Deep experience in process design across Finance, purchasing, supply chain, stock, and omni-channel reporting. Hands-on capability in configuration, workflow setup, data migration and UAT. Strong project management discipline with ability to own deadlines and deliverables. Experience working remotely. Excellent communication skills - able to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience in FMCG, consumer goods, e-commerce, or subscription-based businesses. Exposure to BI tools (Power BI preferred). Ability to scale processes in a fast-growing environment.

Key Outcomes Expected:

Fully scoped and functioning ERP validated with all functions. Clean, reconciled data migration from Xero and legacy systems. A functioning, fully-adopted ERP supporting Finance, Ops and Commercial. Automation of key manual processes (stock, purchasing, landed cost, reporting). Strong governance and auditability embedded across the business. A central source of truth for financial and operational data.
