ATCORE provides high performance reservation and e-commerce platforms for the leisure travel industry.
Based in Slough, UK, with offices in North London, Sussex and Cardiff, ATCORE employs around 180 people.
Our sector-specific platforms for Tour, Specialist, Holiday Park, Cruise and Ferry operators are modular and can be implemented standalone or seamlessly integrated into our customers' existing landscapes.
We deliver our solutions through projects involving the development and implementation of ATCOM software, which operates on an Oracle platform. Our services range from application support to fully hosted private cloud solutions, delivered 24/7.

What are we looking for?
We are seeking graduates (BSc or MSc) in
Computer Science, Maths, Physics, or related disciplines
to join our graduate programme. This role is ideal for someone with a strong technical foundation who is eager to develop their career in enterprise systems, databases and infrastructure.The purpose of the role
Assist in the deployment and management of enterprise-scale IT infrastructure (servers, virtualization, databases, storage, networking) Support customers by fixing hardware and software problems Work with programmers on design, structure, performance tuning and problem resolution of software Assist with the performance of IT security analysis

Essential Skills and Attributes
A sound understanding of database technology Experience of scripting Exposure to server operating systems (Linux, Windows Server 2022 etc.) Analytical and meticulous Conscientious and hard-working A flexible, collaborative team player Results-driven and resourceful Pragmatic and adaptable Confident and articulate
Desirable Skills and Attributes
Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL or .NET programming Familiarity with XML, HTML and VB.net Understanding of networking concepts and technologies Experience of Hypervisors (VMware, Proxmox)

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK and at the specified location. During the initial probation period, you will be required to attend the office on a daily basis. Following successful completion, the role will transition to a hybrid working model, with three days per week in the office.
