Responsibilities

: + Requirement specification production / management
+ Interface Management
+ System Architecture definition
+ System Functional and Interface modelling
+ Working with mechanical, electrical and process systems
+ Operating requirements management database software (DOORS preferential)
+ Operating Model Based Systems engineering Software (Capella preferential)

Background:

+ Engineer or Senior Engineer level resource (3 years experience minimum, 5+ more likely to be a good fit)
+ Experience in complex regulated industry essential (i.e. Nuclear, Aerospace, etc.)
+ Experience in Nuclear industry desirable.
+ Foundation background in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is acceptable

Qualifications

Systems Engineering:

+ Degree in engineering or STEM subject is mandatory or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience.
+ Systems thinking and systems engineering processes is mandatory.
+ Systems engineering training/qualifications desirable.
+ Willing to accept a candidate with SE experience and a desire to move into this field if they can demonstrate competence.
+ Experience operating Rationale DOORS software as a practitioner is desirable.
+ Familiarity with Model Based Systems Engineering is desirable.
+ Awareness of relevant BS or INCOSE standards desirable

Hybrid working from any UK AEIL office but preferences are Derby, Glasgow, Sunderland or Blackburn
