We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer MFT Support to provide expert-level support and maintenance for our Managed File Transfer systems. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and functionality of our global systems. Your responsibilities will include providing support for the specified systems, participating in rotational shifts, and potentially visiting our offices once a quarter. Given the nature of the program/systems you will be working with, this role requires the candidate to be a UK National who can pass an SC security check.

What will you do

Configure and troubleshoot GlobalScape Managed File Transfer (MFT) installations.

Manage and support MFT Servers, ensuring their reliability and performance.

Monitor platform performance parameters, both automatically and manually when needed.

Contribute to incident management for end users across GlobalScape, Kofax, CTERA, and web-based solutions.

Assist in deployments across test, pre-production, and production environments in collaboration with technical leaders.

Provide high-quality support to internal customers, external partners, and third-party vendors, ensuring satisfaction and technical expertise.

Utilize tools like ServiceNow, G Suite, and Tanium to streamline the support process.

Collaborate with the Service Desk team to facilitate information transfer between support tiers, fostering teamwork.

Support the development of technical support documentation.

Maintain strict adherence to information security compliance and actively participate in security practices.

Establish and cultivate relationships with other IT support teams.

Deliver exceptional customer care and service to all users, both internal and external.

Liaise with third-party vendors and suppliers to handle escalated issues effectively.

What you will bring

Be university educated to Degree or equivalent in IT-related field

Strong knowledge of Corporate Technologies and methodologies (e.g., SQL, JAVA, .net, IIS, web services, Scrum, Agile).

Several years of Technical Support Experience, GlobalScape experience and IT support experience for Desktop and Web applications

MSSQL Database Knowledge.

Familiarity with CTERA, Kofax, or Storage.

Strong conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.

Self-motivated with excellent task prioritization and organizational abilities.

Proficient in Business Analysis.

Effective at summarizing and presenting information.

Skilled at building relationships and working in a matrix structure.

Results-oriented with strong influencing skills.

IT database administration skills.

Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to research new processes and technologies

British National with over 5 consecutive years of UK residency and eligibility for Home Office Security Clearance (SC).
