Location:

UK Craven Arms with UK & international travel regularly

Contract:

Full-time- based in Craven Arms 4 days a week when not traveling

As we continue to grow internationally, we're looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Service Delivery team.



About the Role



As a Systems Engineer , you'll gain hands-on experience with audio-visual systems, immersive technology, and Igloo's proprietary software. You'll work alongside senior engineers to support installations, maintenance, live events, and customer training building the technical and professional skills needed to progress within the team.

Key Responsibilities



Global Installation and commissioning

International Travel to Install, Rig and Align igloo immersive systems Help maintain warehouse standards and carry out test builds. Learn to set up Igloo media servers and conduct hardware testing. Provide on-site support for internal and external clients Build, cable, and commission AV and IT components including displays, projection, media servers, audio and networking. Ensure installations meet Igloo's technical, quality, and safety standards

Customer Service & Training



Support live events and contribute to customer training materials. Take part in remote and in-person training delivery. Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams. Support live environments during installations and handover phases. Delivery key technical training to end customer

Technical Support



Provide initial technical troubleshooting and escalate issues as needed. Log and document issues through the internal ticketing system. Assist in submitting bug reports or development requests. Provide 1st-line support via the service desk (email, phone, ticketing system) to help diagnose and resolve basic issues.

Project Collaboration



Work with project managers to understand project requirements. Collaborate with third-party suppliers and integrators. Assist in developing installation drawings, cable schedules, and system documentation.

What We're Looking For



Essential



Basic understanding of IT and audio-visual technologies. Willingness to learn and develop strong technical skills. Good communication and customer service abilities. Team-focused approach with the ability to follow instructions. Ability to work at height when required. Flexibility to travel frequently and work onsite for extended periods. A valid and up-to-date passport.

Desirable



Microsoft, AVIXA or related technical certifications. Full clean UK driving licence. Previous customer-facing experience.

Travel Requirements



Willingness to travel across the UK and internationally as needed.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 30,000.00-42,000.00 per year
