As a Systems Engineer L2 at Pax8, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining cutting-edge IT systems to meet our evolving business requirements.

So you are interested, let\'s see what you will be doing in this role:

• You will be responsible for designing, deploying and maintaining both cloud-based and traditional IT systems for Pax8\'s internal stakeholders.
• Working on internal projects for over 300 different software operations
• Identifying areas for improvement and implementing process changes to increase efficiently and effectiveness of the Systems Operations team.
• Providing feedback and coaching to other team members across Technical Services to help troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with cloud systems and infrastructure
• Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths set out for you and other development programmes that are open to the Pax8 team. Potentially becoming a Subject Matter Expert within the team.

Requirements:

You\'ll be ideal for us if you:

• Substantial experience in systems engineering and administration, with 2+ years experience in a more senior role.
• Proven experience in a similar role as a Systems Engineer within a internal IT function.
• Strong expertise and experience with Cloud technologies and infrastructure, including AWS, AZURE and Google Cloud Platform.
• Know your way around the MS stack efficiently.
• A key understanding of Agile project management methodologies.
• Understanding of Project Management software such as: Jira, Dev ops, MS Project, Trello, or Asana.
• Fundamental knowledge of security best practises and tools for cloud systems
• Experience demonstrating strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, being able to learn on the go in a fast moving environment.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate at all levels

Ideal certifications for this role:

• MS-900 - Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals
• MS-700 - Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate
• MS-500 - Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
• AZ-900 - Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals
• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
