We are seeking a

Systems Engineer

based in Slough, United Kingdom to be part of a global journey with

. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with a diverse international community, delivering innovative technology solutions that make a meaningful impact.

As a key member of our Apron Business Unit, you will report directly to the Head of Delivery, focusing on integrating our cutting-edge Apron solutions into customer environments. Your role will involve international travel to implement these solutions in airports worldwide, including some of the busiest hubs.

The Role...

As a

Systems Engineer

at ADB SAFEGATE, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining aviation technology solutions tailored to client needs. You will ensure systems are efficient, reliable, and at the forefront of technology through rigorous testing and precision installation at global client sites.

Your responsibilities will also include providing ongoing support and maintenance, ensuring seamless integration with airport operations and adaptability to evolving needs. Your work will drive innovation, enabling safer, more efficient, and sustainable airport operations worldwide.

You will make an impact by....

Being a proactive, tech-savvy innovator with:
A degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. Have experience in Linux/Windows server administration and JavaScript development. Demonstrate work experience with containerized solutions and containerization management (e.g., Kubernetes). Show understanding of high-availability systems and basic networking. Exhibit exceptional English proficiency and the ability to pass a Criminal Records Check (required for airport airside access).

This would be a plus but not a must!

Have knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, or virtualization. Display experience with system integration, identity access management systems, or DevOps environments. Demonstrate Multilingual abilities and a history of working internationally . Show working knowledge of aviation and/or airport operations.
