As a Systems Engineer (Technology), you'll play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions that support both internal and customer-driven projects across the aerospace and defence sectors.



About the Role



As a key member of our Technology team, you'll apply your systems engineering expertise to high-impact projects--most notably, supporting the development and delivery of advanced integrated air defence systems. You'll work within an Integrated Product Team (IPT), helping to shape requirements, anticipate design complexities, and ensure successful delivery to specification, on time and within budget.



What You'll Do


Lead the development of system and sub-system requirements, configuration, and technical documentation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance and technical excellence. Support trials, demonstrations, and customer engagements. Contribute to bids and proposals, helping to shape the future of Draken's capabilities. Apply engineering best practices, including LCM and regulatory compliance. Travel within the UK and internationally to support project delivery.
What You Bring


Proven experience in systems engineering across the full lifecycle. Familiarity with aerospace, defence, electronic warfare, and networked C2 systems. Strong understanding of requirements management, systems design, and configuration control. Excellent communication, negotiation, and technical writing skills. A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Desirable: Chartered Engineer (CEng), MEng/MSc.
