The Opportunity

We're seeking a versatile developer to join our stellar international team. This role offers the opportunity to work across our entire technology stack, handling diverse technical challenges from API integrations to data transformation and business intelligence. You'll work directly with our Head of Systems to execute technical projects while they focus on strategic planning and higher-level initiatives.


This role will suit a self-motivated individual who enjoys finding solutions to complex problems and picking up new skills and tools quickly.


Key Responsibilities

Development & Integration




Develop software applications to integrate with various APIs from third parties Build and maintain cloud-based applications using JavaScript, Python, Node.js, and Apps Script Create and customize web pages using both WYSIWYG SaaS platforms and React/Prepr CMS Assist with Shopify development and customization

Data & Analytics




Perform data transformation and analysis within our data warehouse (Snowflake) Create automated Google Sheets reports from Snowflake data for various teams Build views and reporting solutions in BI tools and Google Sheets Develop dashboards and data visualizations for business stakeholders

Cloud Infrastructure




Utilize AWS services including Lambda and S3 for various applications Handle cloud-based IT requests and occasional systems admin when our full time sysadmin is absent. Support and maintain existing cloud infrastructure based around Snowflake, AWS, Airtable, Google Sheets, AWS, etc. Integrate new tools into our cloud infrastructure using native API calls and middleware such as make.com

Cross-functional Collaboration




Liaise with teams across the organization to complete technical projects scoped by the Head of Systems and the Project Management team Translate business requirements into technical solutions Provide technical support and troubleshooting as needed

Process & Operations Support




Cover essential process-based tasks during team member absences Handle routine but critical operational activities to ensure business continuity Support day-to-day administrative and maintenance tasks as needed We are a live operations and some ad-hoc out of hours support may be required

Essential Skills

Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Node.js Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (Lambda, S3) Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) Familiarity with API development and integration Experience with Google Workspace (Sheets, Apps Script) Web development skills (React / Next.JS knowledge a plus) Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Desirable Skills

Experience working with and building external customer facing AI tools such as Customer Service chat bots, as well as utilising AI for internal projects. Experience with BI tools and data visualization Shopify development experience Understanding of data transformation and ETL processes Great sense of humour
