To operate tack welding activities and assist in the fabrication of metal components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to safety procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties
Operate tack welding activities to join metal parts according to customer specifications.
Read and interpret work instructions.
Prepare materials and components for welding, including cleaning and positioning.
Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as needed.
Maintain welding equipment and report any faults or maintenance needs.
Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.
Follow all health and safety regulations and wear appropriate PPE.
Record production data and complete job sheets accurately.
Requirements
Previous experience in welding or metal fabrication (tack welding preferred).
Ability to read drawings and use measuring tools.
Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and procedures.
Good attention to detail and manual dexterity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
MIG & TIG experience desirable but not essential (No qualification needed)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.70-14.00 per hour
