Ruben's Golden Fry is looking to recruit a Part Takeaway Assistant who's main role will be serving customers , we are a business who provide Award Winning High Quality Fish and Chips, Pizzas and Kebabs using only the best ingredients. The shifts would be lunchtime shifts 11am until 1:45pm, Monday to Friday and also evening overtime would be available if required. Our store is designed to a very high standard which will enables us to stand out from the crowd with new state of the art cooking equipment and technology. Experience in customer service is essential.

The ideal candidate will be:

Duties will include:

Cash handling Serving customers Ensuring customer satisfaction Food preparation Food cooking Maintaining a very high standard of food hygiene
Responsibilities:
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of the chef or kitchen manager
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are followed at all times
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Provide support to other team members as needed

Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food safety practices and procedures
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating portion sizes
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from superiors
- Upselling skills to promote specials or additional menu items

Note: Culinary training or certification is a plus, but not required for this position.
