Job Summary

We are looking for a Takeaway Server to join Britain's Best Fish & Chips. Reporting to the Management Team, this role is all about delivering an extraordinary experience to every customer.

We've been in the business for over 50 years and we're pretty proud of everything we've achieved. With restaurants and takeaways across the Yorkshire & Lincolnshire in some of the county's most iconic locations and unique buildings.

As a Takeaway Server, you are responsible for creating memorable experiences for our customers. You've tried out all of our dishes so you know what to recommend! You'll also have the charm to engage guests in conversation while waiting and exceed their expectations for what hospitality in a takeaway can be.

Experience isn't always necessary but a big personality and willingness to work hard is. We believe that your attitude is what makes you special...Each new starter will undertake a training program and we will be here to help you every step of the way.

This role has both full-time and part-time vacancies, including evenings and weekends on a rota basis.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 7.55-12.21 per hour

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to customers with a focus on excellent hospitality. Ensure compliance with food safety standards during food preparation and service. Assist in food preparation tasks, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen. Manage time efficiently to meet service demands during peak hours. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests. Utilize basic math skills for handling transactions and managing orders accurately.

Qualifications

Strong serving skills with a focus on customer service in a hospitality environment Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices Experience in food preparation and kitchen operations Basic math skills for handling transactions Time management abilities to ensure efficient service Previous restaurant experience is preferred Culinary experience is a plus Familiarity with kitchen equipment and procedures
